Can’t edit Dropbox files in Excel anymore. Get an error about the file not being able to open.
I’ve always been able to open an Excel file in Dropbox to edit it. It was very simple…click the file, click Open In, choose Excel, make my edits, click “return to Dropbox”, refresh, and the file now...

If I understand this correctly, it sounds like you're using your mobile to edit the content, right? If not, feel free to clarify.
Can you clarify your OS and the version of the Dropbox app you're using? If you could also send us a screenshot of the exact error you're getting, I'd appreciate it.

Thank you so much for responding. Everything suddenly just started working. I had closed all my open windows on the iPad and restarted it, which I’d done before, but it worked this time.
