I solved the problem.I performed a thorough uninstallation, deleting files and folders one by one, being very meticulous. Despite having uninstalled it and installed the current version, I discovered some remnants of the beta version.
Then I was asked to install Dropbox for macOS on File Provider.
After doing so, everything worked perfectly.
So, the issue was caused by a faulty uninstallation of the beta version.

Before we reach out to you, can you let us know if you've used the Dropbox app in the meantime, and if it has been updated to the latest version?
Are you still running the beta one and are facing the same issue?

Problem still here.
How can we solve for good this?
There is so many complaints from other customers same problem. How Dropbox did not fix it?
Could be a corrupted installation?
How I remove and reinstall Dropbox completely to have a clean uncorrupted install?Edouard
