IPad App - Offline Excel files won’t open without internet connection

Hi there, when I click an offline excel (or any MS file) in the iPad Dropbox app, I get an error saying ‘Can’t open Excel’ and that I can view the preview of the file but not open/edit it. Is there...

Unfortunately that doesn't work either. I've tried it on both iPad and iPhone.

If I open 1 file with WiFi, then turn off wifi and open the file again, it works. If I open 4 files on WiFi then try each again with no WifI they won't open.

If you're not on a Dropbox Basic plan with more than 3 devices connected, could you try uninstalling the app, rebooting the device, and re-installing it to see if this helps?

    Gah nope. Did as described, deleted, restarted, readded, opened the files at least once then turned off connection and when I tap open in Excel in instantly tell me I need an internet connection.
