The Dropbox integration isn't working on Dropbox Sign; I can't save my signed documents to Dropbox.

I have spent too much time over the past two days at work trying to set up a contract for signature because the signature tab will no longer be a feature for self-signing or sending a document for signature through Dropbox on or after 5/29/25.

The document does not load after clicking the Dropbox icon, signing in, and choosing the document within the folder that I need to route for signature.

Support closed my ticket via email after focusing more on the difference between my email address and my username which has the unlimited signature annual subscription (my company updated their website domain a handful of years ago).

Can someone please advise on how to proceed to send signature requests or even self-sign a document with the Dropbox integration on or after 5/29/25?  I prefer using the Dropbox integration because you can set it up to save the signed document automatically.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry to hear about your experience, skilightning.

To make sure I got this right, you were initially trying to use the Signatures tab on www.dropbox.com, instead of Dropbox Sign. Correct? These are two different platforms, and while the Signatures tab will be deprecated indeed after the 05/29, you should still be able to send out signature requests via Dropbox Sign directly after that.

Can you send me a screenshot of what you see on your end when trying to upload your document for signature? Have you also tried a different browser in the meantime?

Finally, I’d like to know the ticket number from your support request, so that I can have a look at it, too.

Give me a nudge, once you have more info.

    Hi, Nancy.

I'm not able to use the Dropbox feature in Dropbox Sign at app.hellosign.com to send a document I select for signature.  I can upload any document to route for require signatures, however the signed document won't automatically save in Dropbox.

The support ticket # is 25095285. IT doesn't work on both Safari and Google Chrome.

The point is I need to do one of my tasks in my job by routing documents for signatures within my company, so I was testing the ability to do this with the same results (auto-saving the signed document). It looks like the removal of the Signature tab in dropbox.com will cause contract managers like myself more work to save signed documents returned via email from Dropbox Sign.

Thanks for those screenshots and for the additional info! Appreciate them.

Can you also send me one more visual of what you see on this page? Have you tried deactivating and re-enabling the integration between Dropbox and Dropbox Sign? You can also check out this Help Center article for more details.

In the meantime, I’ve located your ticket and left an internal note for our support agent to see.

    Hi, Nancy.

Thanks for your response.  Davis in Dropbox Sign support addressed my concerns and also let me know the feature for automatically saving signed documents to specific folders in Dropbox is simply not a feature of the app.hellosign.com website in any way.  When the signatures page of Dropbox goes away on May 29th, there won't be any other features that replace that functionality.  Davis also said I could let the Dropbox developers know by visiting their Share an Idea board.

Hi again, skilightning, and sorry for the nudge. I’d still recommend giving the Dropbox and Dropbox Sign integration (mentioned here) a try and let me know if it works for what you’d like to achieve. Just keep in mind that only documents completed after activation will sync and this integration doesn't work retroactively.

If you come across any issues though, or you get any errors that it’ll also stop soon, please give me a nudge.
