When I click dropbox paper invite, I get "You are not a member of the team anymore" message

thing is, I am a team member, I even bought the pro membership, thinking this is what prevented me from using it, but it still does not work,  help!

Does this apply for any Paper doc you're being invited to from that user, or just this particular doc? Please could you attach a screenshot showing the message you're getting so we can assist further?

it seems to happen with every paper document, since I cannot even open the sample one in my files folder

    Have you been invited to a Dropbox Business team by any chance? Do you see anything in the notifications of the site?
