Dropbox Paper mobile app will be discontinued on October 9th
Today I've received an email that the Dropbox Paper mobile app will be discontinued on October 9th. So it looks like all the documents won't be accessible on smartphones which in this day and age is a major bummer. What's the rational behind this shocking decision? Does this mean Paper as a whole is on the chopping block?

Selecting a Paper task in sidebar doesn't take me to the actual "to do" in large docs; page reloads.
Device - Macbook pro Apple M1 Max - 32GB Operating System/Browser (if using the web) - MacOS 15.6.1 (24G90) Dropbox App Version/Browser Version - Version 139.0.7258.139 (Official Build) (arm64) Question or Issue One of the most awesome features of Dropbox Paper, besides it's elegant, minimal display options , and smooth copy-paste with Apple Mail, is the task sidebar.I have looked for a replacement as Drop[box paper has aged, and nothing comes close. Unfortunately, the sidebar has stopped working the way it was designed. When I click on a todo in the task sidebar, it always forces a reload of the page (it did not used to, if I clicked on a task that was within this document.) AND, if the document is large, it does not scroll to a todo in a large document. This renders the Task sidebar almost useless as a navigation tool. Now I have to search text to match the todo, where the Task sidebar navigation used to be seamless. Attached is a document that exhibits the "full page reload" issue. And a screen recording of a larger file, where the todo list does not scroll. PLEASE fix this! This is CRUCIAL to our workflow with our many many clients. We do NOT want to migrate off Dropbox Paper! New Paper: easier way to scroll through folders, and user temples directly when using Paper.
With the new paper its very hard to work as you have to go from Dropbox to Paper, back and forth unless you know the name of the file. It would be a lot easier if it was possible to scroll through folders directly in Paper and to use templets directly in paper so the new document get stored in the correct folder.

How to deal with new Dropbox Paper files after migration and locate them?
I am so confused right now. Prior to the upgrade, I had created folders within Dropbox paper so all of my documents are in those folders. I can see those folders within the "Migrated Paper Docs" folder in Dropbox. But when I open the Paper website or the app on my phone, I can't see any of those folders. In theory, I can search for any document that's in those folders, but I want to be able to browse through the folders. I also tried moving the folders from the Migrated folder into the "Paper Docs" folder but nothing happened and I still couldn't see or browse through those folders. On the Paper website, one can now create 'Sections' and move docs into Sections but I have no idea what the use of that is because after creating one, I can't see them within the App. I have no idea what I am supposed to do now to organize this mess. This upgrade should have been seamless to users.

Tasks on Dropbox Paper aren't syncing
For a few days now (looks like the issues started mid-march 2025), the to-dos lists on Paper are no longer synced. This happens on the web UI and on the Paper app (used on 2 different devices). Both lists are consistent (what I see on the web is exactly the same as what I see on the app), but the lists are not consistent with the Paper documents. For instance: A to-do removed on a Paper document is still on the to-dos list, A to-do that had been completed on the Paper document is still marked as "to-do" on the to-dos list, A to-do which due date had been changed stills have the old date on the list. Note that I'm using Dropbox Paper for years, and it's the first time I'm having this issue. Thanks in advance for the help!

"In one week: Paper docs are moving to your Dropbox" but they haven't.
On December 13, 2024, I received an email from Dropbox stating, ‘In one week: Paper docs are moving to your Dropbox.’ However, this has not happened. Instead, when I click the ‘Download docs you created’ button on paper.dropbox.com, I no longer receive an email with a download link as I used to. Why isn’t Paper working as expected? ...Tobias

I can't edit my Paper docs on the Android app after the migration
After the last changing on the Dropbox paper App I can no more continue to work with my files on the phone . I want to migrate the files to an other App . When I open them in the Dropbox folder of migrated files it's impossible to open them . They say you can open the files only from a computer . I need to use the files on android. Is that a possibility to convert them on MD or txt or word files? I feel it's not fair enough to block the files .

I can't edit my Paper docs after migration. Any ideas?
I love Paper application, because is lite easy to use and verry fast to search in it .... but starting yesterday, i found all my papers moved inside dropbox in a folder called "Migrated Papers Docs" and now I saw that I am not able to edit it any more and the search is working only for title not for the content or at least is not so sharp like was 2 days ago. Do you have any ideea?

Dropbox Paper docs appear on the mobile app, but not my web account.
I’ve been using Dropbox and Paper for over 8years now. Everything was working well until this morning. Now the files that are on my paper app on my phone are nowhere to be found on my paper account online. I use Dropbox for my writing career and have the biggest show in years coming up Sunday. I have had a ticket open since 10am and have received no correspondence. I can see all my docs in the paper app just fine, and I can search for them on Dropbox but if I don’t remember the title, it doesn’t allow me to view them. I have over 200 paper files, and I have noticed that if I copy them all one by one and paste them into this new interface then I may have a shot I self restoring. This is terrible and my show is less than 48 hours. Can someone please help me!!!
