Can't cancel free trial
I'm trying to cancel my free trial, but I don't have that option. Here's what the instructions say: The "plan" and "manage plan" are completely absent from my options. I then tried to delet...

Hey Red Gerran, sorry to jump in here, but I just wanted to mention that it looks like your trial was indeed cancelled, but you'll get to keep the additional quota till the end of the trial period.

Hi Megan & thank you for responding, I did already have a Dropbox account but it was not under a free trial 30 day basic subscription, it is just free basic account, I ran out of space on the 2gb & had the option to use the free 30 day subscription trial which i set up with my debit MasterCard so I could get more space for downloads & knowing I could cancel at anytime..but now I do want to cancel I have followed the instructions path to cancel but can't..on my settings page I have 2 boxes, one is of my current plan.. the 30 day free subscription & it is greyed out & non accessible) & the other box is accessible to use by start a free trial, the non accessible current plan greyed out box is the one I'm trying to cancel but can't..so now I'm worried that when the subscription expires in about 26 days I'll get charged a yearly £98 sum which I can't afford to pay..I hope the information I've given has helped you in hopefully solving my issue & that there is a more easier way for me to cancel or if Dropbox could cancel my subscription for me direct, looking forward to your reply....Ricky (slick180)

3 years agoHi Slick180, sorry to jump in, but could you send us a screenshot of the greyed out box looks on your end and another one of your plan tab?
- Slick1803 years agoExplorer | Level 3I have sent 3 screenshots to Dropbox community via email which was sent to me when I was received your notification, I don't know how to send it in this reply post as chrome won't allow it

Thanks for the screenshots Slick180 - much appreciated.
Keep in mind that based on the screenshots, it seems you're using a Basic, free account. Had you started a trial, it'd show the name of the plan you're trial e.g. Plus trial.
Can you check any email address you have, to check if you have any other accounts, maybe?
- Slick1803 years agoExplorer | Level 3I only have the one account, I log in using my Google account, I still don't understand though because I filled out my card details on the 30 day free trial basic subscription offer.. I did this while signed in to my Dropbox account, I did not have 2gb before filling in my card details because it was used up, but now I have 2gb available which suggest to me that the trial offer is in effect after I filled in my card details.
