Hi there! We want to store regular files, pictures, as well as medical files that require protection (HIPAA). A storage size of 1-2 TB will be enough. A regular link will be enough for us to display regular files and images. But for protected files, it is necessary that the link is always generated new and valid for a certain amount of time, as long as we specify, for example. The number of users is 1. I don't see the point in more. The data will be uploaded to the storage through it. Which plan would be optimal for my request? Thanks!Solved43Views1like5CommentsUser experience and suggestion for upgrading to an individual plan.
Dear Dropbox Team, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share a few suggestions that I believe could greatly enhance the user experience on your platform. Firstly, I’ve noticed that when files are shared via a link, there is currently no search functionality available for the recipient. As Dropbox is often used to share large volumes of data and multiple files, locating a specific document without a search option can be quite time-consuming. Introducing a search feature within shared links would significantly improve usability and efficiency for end-users. Secondly, I would like to suggest reconsidering the current storage limit for free users. Increasing the free storage from 2GB to at least 50GB—or ideally 100GB—could set Dropbox apart from its competitors. Such an offering would encourage users to build a habit of storing their data exclusively on Dropbox. Once they reach the 100GB threshold, many would likely opt for a paid plan to retain access and continue using the service. To mitigate account duplication, measures could be implemented to restrict users from creating multiple free accounts. If you’re open to further user-based insights, I would be happy to share additional suggestions or assist you in any professional capacity. Thank you for considering my feedback. I look forward to seeing how Dropbox continues to evolve. Warm regards, Noman13Views0likes1CommentPaid for a Plus plan and it appears on my account but the additional space was not added
I paid for a Plus subscription. It said it activated but storage still says 6gb, and wont let me contact support because I doesnt recognise the Plus. it look surreal I am attaching some images. It says that I am already on Plus but I got 6gb and I am stuck in a Loop. I cant even contact support because this help support gimmick to get every buck from us wont let the normal accounts get help. No reply to ticket raised.
I use DropBox for our charity documentation and paid for a plan with charity funds, yet this is not reflecting on the account as it still is a free account. I have opened a ticket via email with the details of the payment, yet I've had no response and I'm starting to become frustrated with this lack of customer service.63Views0likes6CommentsHow to cancel my subscription?
Dear Dropbox Community, I can not figure out how to cancel my $22/mo. individual plan, which I not longer use. I have logged into my account via both the web and Android app and still can not cancel it. Very frustrating. And I can not locate a phone number, chat option or email to get help from Dropbox. I am sure Dropbox is a fine company with a great product. But, I not longer need it. I would be MOST appreciative if anyone can tell me how to cancel my account. My most recent charge on my credit card was yesterday, Oct. 31. Would love to get a refund, but I am not sure that is possible. Many thanks. Sincerely, SteveSolved2.6KViews1like11CommentsCan't access previous bills after switching plan to Basic
Hi, after roughly 5 years on the Plus plan, I just switched to Basic the other day because I won't be needing Dropbox anymore. I wanted to download the last invoice (for April 2025) but can't access my Billing area anymore - all it tells me is "Something went wrong while retrieving your billing history. Please try again later." (Yes, I have tried this more than once.) The cherry on top is that now that I'm on the Basic plan, I can't contact customer service to ask for my last invoice. Perfect... So the question is, how do I access my invoices?25Views0likes5Comments
