5 months agoThanks for dropping by and sharing your idea lukehall. This topic was touched on a few months ago, and one of our Dropbox team members laid out a strong case for the plan with 3 licenses even though you may not need them at this point
"In regards to your request, you can actually do that by subscribing to our Dropbox Advanced Plan 15TB . You don't have to make use of the other 2 licenses for now if you are just using the whole space for yourself.
And with this plan, you are actually saving. The cost of our Solo Professional plan 3TB a year is $200. So 15TB is like purchasing 5 sets of Solo Professionals 3TB at $200 per 3TB, so the total cost of the 15TB is supposed to be $200 x 5 sets or $1,000. However, with our Advanced Plan 15TB, you only pay for $864/year , so that would be a savings of $136/year.
On top of that, you will have added benefits that are not offered in the Solo Professional Plan 3TB, and these are just few of them:
Real time Phone Support feature, 24/7 security alerts and ransomware detection where you get notified of suspected threats and take action to protect your data immediately, End-to-End Encryption, to prevent third parties from accessing your transferred data, and so much more :)"
