Why has my 100GB promotion from Acer not been activated?
Hi,
I've read a previous post about this promotion, but the steps weren't very clear on how to take advantage on this amazing offer. Could you please provide a simple, step-by-step guide for me to follow? I'd also like to mention that I have Autism and I need instructions to be as clear as possible. I'm using AI to help me write this message.
Thank you,
Caitlin

Hi ImprovingLivesThroughWalking, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
You can read up on the steps as listed in this article to activate the promotion.
In short, you open the pre-installed version of Dropbox on your machine (don't install a new version from the Dropbox site), and then sign in with your existing account there, or create a new Dropbox account.
After that, the promotional quota should then be added to your account.
If you need any further assistance, please let me know.

So just to confirm, you did sign in to the pre-installed version of the Dropbox desktop application?
Have you redeemed any previous promotional offer with Acer in the past on your Dropbox account?

This is the key. If you installed Dropbox yourself, you won't get the promotion.

Hi Jay, no I did not install Dropbox myself I followed the instructions to the letter. I installed from the pop up, then after Dropbox was installed, clicked on the signup instruction. Logged in but I only got 2 GB. Thank you
