Dropbox keeps switching to beta while I've already opted out of early releases.
I keep getting updated to the beta when i dont want the beta anymore. it sucks and i turned off early access in my account. can some smart person from dropbox just remove me from the beta forever? its horrible and I never want it again

I can't do that. I don't work for Dropbox. I'm just a user like you.
Try this. Uninstall Dropbox from your computer. If you have it installed on more than one, uninstall it from all of them. Remove the linked device(s) from your Security page, then go toggle the Early Access setting On and then Off again. Then reinstall the stable version, being sure to download it from here.

Did you install the stable client? If not, then you'll continue to get the beta updates. You need to disable the option in your account settings, then download and reinstall the stable version.

I have done this a million times

There is no such thing! I downloaded the "sable client" and because I was in EA I'd just get the EA version over and over and over. Now that I disabled EA from my account. I can install the regular version, but it eventually "updates" to the garbage beta version.

The people here don't have access to your account like that. You would need to contact Support, and I don't even know if they can do that for you. Your best option is to work through some troubleshooting here first.
I would suggest trying the steps I mentioned above, as Megan also suggested to you in your other thread.

You might be onto something tbh. I removed all of the devices linked to this pc and so far so good, but ill give it a few more days. i also downloaded the offline version of the stable version after doing that. Give it a few days (after the weekend id say is a good time) and i will post your comment as solved if it works!

I think we got it figured out. If I wasn't home today I wouldn't have found out another issue that I had with it updating though the beta. I use a scheduled task to run "winget upgrade" and I noticed it picked up dropbox...no biggie. till it started to update and it wants to update to the beta.... this has nothing to do with me or my issue. this is another dropbox issue as the github is posting beta versions. I found a way to ignore dropbox in the winget upgrade command so no more problems there. I just want to say thank you for all your help!
