    Well, don’t I feel stupid! My plan is actually the free plan which is only a paltry 3.75GB, so less than your regular DVD. So 3.1GB is not an unreasonable point at which to send me a warning.

I did check as I had an old account with an aol address last decade, but lack of use closed the account and no repeat emails on closed accounts.  I was able to find a single shared file from another account and removed my access to that to see if the upgrade requests stop in 24 hours.  It took far too much searching to find this single shared file though.  I remain at 0 bytes used out of 2GB, so why does a shared file link on another hosts name trip my usage?

Hi BMG6800, just for clarification, is this a shared file you're referring to, or a shared folder?

    Was a shared file link that upon finding has been removed, but still receiving overlimit emails moments after this one link was disabled.
