I'm a Chinese mainland user, but I can't email support via a VPN

I am a Chinese mainland user so I have to use VPN to use Dropbox and visit the webpage.  I am in a family group. When I want to send emails to support on the webpage,there is always a warning that 'cannot send the request now'. I think the reason is that the IP of my VPN is abused. Am I right?

    There is a possibility that this could be the case, as there are restrictions in access to Dropbox from that region. 

     

    Are you able to change your email address to a different domain to see if you're able to submit the ticket?
