I made an account yesterday (with the basic free account) and downloaded the desktop app. One problem is that no icon appears on my desktop. If I need to open the app, I have to press the Windows key and type the name in. The major problem is that I can't sign into the desktop app. It would open my default browser (Edge) for me to sign in and then that page would change to "Successfully logged in. Open Dropbox" but then the app would give an error "Previous sign in interrupted. Please try again." immediately after. I've uninstalled the app, reinstalled it, restarted my laptop, cleared my browser's data, but still get the same error. My Win11 Dropbox continues to hammer me with Popups that say: "Sync Status These files are online-only. To Open them, first move them into your Drop box folder." I traced some of these files to my \Dropbox\dropbox.cache folder. I deleted it. The Popups just kept Popping. I deleted Dropbox App on Win11 and Reinstalled it. That did not help. The Popups just kept Popping. I cloned my Dropbox folder to my OneDrive ... it continues always say it is uploading 89 files. It makes no progress uploading the 89 Files. I made the screenshot to show exactly what is going on. The issue is that this file and the other one are deleted, or at least I tried to. This notification is just popping up over and over. I tried to find the files in dropbox online and delete them but they are not there. I'm not trying to open these anymore, I had them on the computer the other day and then started to delete them and there was a sync issue. I unloaded then reloaded the dropbox app and these two notifications go all day. I'm using Dropbox v180.4.4912 on macOS 13.5 on an Apple Silicon Mac mini. If it helps, I'm also using Maestral 1.8.0 (both GUI and daemon) on a different Mac. I have a persistent sync issue in my personal Dropbox: When I click on "Go to folder", Finder becomes the active app, but the currently-open window doesn't change to any different folder, no matter what folder I have open. I poked around in Console.app, but didn't see anything useful. I used to get a red circled "1" in my menu-bar icon when I first started getting this error, but now it's a red circled "2". I'm not sure what the second extra thing that Dropbox is encountering that's causing it to bump the badged number from 1 to 2. Suggestions? Quitting and restarting Dropbox doesn't fix it, even temporarily, and I've rebooted my computer for OS updates once or twice since I started getting this error. Hi Dropbox community, Recently, I noticed that all of my devices from the entire history of my Dropbox app usage are listed again in the "Settings => Devices" section Upon attempting to remove these old devices by clicking on the trash icon next to the respective device hostname, I encountered a problem. Hi all, I am in IT Helpdesk - I have 2 users that have stopped getting email notifications when projects are added to their Dropbox. All email options are checked but the emails are not coming in.
