It has been set, but I didn't get an email about I'm running out of space, when it happened yesterday. I don't know why. I have checked my Gmail and nothing is in the Spam or Trash folder. There is no filter set for Dropbox emails.33Views0likes2CommentsI verified my email but it doesn't register as verified
I'm trying to share a folder through a link. It wants me to verify my email address. I've verified my email by clicking the link it sends me about 10 times now, but it still doesn't register as verified, even under my account settings. I'm unable to chat with support because I don't have access to it.42Views2likes3CommentsNot receiving the verification email
Hello, I set up a drop box account today and have failed to receive the verification email, I have tried multiple times and tried using a different email address. I use outlook for email. I have checked the junk folder and have added no-reply@dropbox.comto my safe sender list and added no-reply@dropbox.comas a contact. I am at a loss as to what is causing the issue. I have checked the quarantine in Microsoft Admin to see if they are being stopped before they get to our inbox and no messages are in quarantine. Any help is appreciated, thanks!77Views0likes1CommentCannot receive verification email - I can no longer access the address associated with my account
Hi, I am reaching out for urgent assistance regarding my Dropbox account, as I am currently unable to access the primary email address associated with it. My account was originally registered with an email linked to my old corporate Gmail address, but this address is now inaccessible due to Google’s discontinuation of free Workspace services and the expiration of my domain three years ago. When I attempted to change the primary email address in my Dropbox account settings, the verification code was sent to the email I no longer have access to. This has left me in a difficult position, as I am unable to retrieve the code or access my account settings. I kindly request your support in verifying my identity through alternative means and updating my primary email address to a new, accessible one. I am available to provide any necessary information for account verification, including details such as previous billing information, recent files or folders accessed, and devices used. Please let me know if there are any steps I can take to expedite this process, as I urgently need to access my Dropbox account. Thank you very much for your assistance and prompt response to this matter. Syed Khurram Saleem171Views0likes1CommentCannot change my email address via Settings
When I want to change my email adress, I need to verify it first. I receive a pop-up, enter my new email and current one with password. Note => email adresses are not the same. When I change my current one to the new one (so two times the new one), I also get an error (red cross without a message). How can I force to change my email?Solved2.5KViews0likes18CommentsConfused about my account email and access on desktop
I've been using Dropbox for years through one email address. I recently closed the business connected to this email so (I thought) I changed the email associated with my Dropbox to a new address. Now I am only able to access my files and folders if I login to Dropbox on a browser. I want to be able to access the files, as I used to, in my Windows explorer folder but there's nothing there (except newly saved files). I'm also working on a new pc and I can't seem to change the email associated to the pc. Is this anything to do with my problem? Can anyone shed any light on this please?Solved2.2KViews1like7CommentsTurn off Dropbox Transfer notifications and emails
Hello, I am sick of the torrent of emails and red badges reminding me that I just created a transfer, someone downloaded the transfer I sent them to download, or the transfer is expiring etc. I want to turn off all of these emails with a toggle in the app. The numerous other posts and requests about this issue (dating back to the late 2010's) have gone unresolved, so I'm adding my voice here. Please prioritize fixing this problem! Or hire me to come and add the code in your backend real quick! Pleeeeease 🙏330Views0likes2CommentsHow can I stop these emails about the quota on my account?
I have been getting email messages from Dropbox about my storage space being full. Yes, I know my space is full and can be deleted. The price for plans is too expensive. I have other cloud backup that is much less expensive. Can anybody please stop these annoying emails. It appears there are no online support chats to submit this request to. Dropbox came as a free trial with my HP laptop. Worst decision I ever made. Hi! I'm an independent contractor for a company, and I set up a Dropbox account with my new email address. However, I upgraded my freelance business account to Dropbox Plus and would like to make the contractor email a secondary email on that upgraded account. That way, I'll be able to see files/folders shared with either email address in Dropbox, and the upgraded plan will give me more storage space and features. Because the contractor email is already in use with an account, it won't let me add it as a secondary email in the other account. Should I delete that account? It's warning me that deleting the account means I will no longer have access to anything previously shared with that email address. Only a few folders have been shared so far, and I could have someone share them again, but I want to be sure I'm doing this the right way before I do something irreversible. I appreciate any insights you can provide! Thanks!Solved880Views0likes2CommentsI can't access my Dropbox files, as I keep being asked to verify my email address.
