Hello, I am sick of the torrent of emails and red badges reminding me that I just created a transfer, someone downloaded the transfer I sent them to download, or the transfer is expiring etc. I want to turn off all of these emails with a toggle in the app. The numerous other posts and requests about this issue (dating back to the late 2010's) have gone unresolved, so I'm adding my voice here. I am a self confessed numpty when it comes to technology but I have been trying to change my email address on my Dropbox a/c. I have followed the support advice and gone into settings but I both my phone and iPad, there is no “general” setting to change my email. is there another way to do this, as my old email address is expiring soon? I have had a Basic Plan account for may years. This month (June 2025) I started receiving marketing emails on my alternate email address. I selected to unsubscribe from these emails. But when I clicked the unsubscribe link, it took me to a webpage associated with the email address assigned to my primary DropBox account. Upon reviewing all the setting I could see, I could not see why DropBox has my alternate email address. The first one was to notify me of a login to my account from a new browser, but I can't find that configured in my Dropbox settings. Hi all, I have read many of the threads and found that many have been facing this issue. I wanted to change my current email address to another one that is related to my business. As I am using this dropbox for business matters and planning to upgrade to professional. Yet I keep getting the message that the new email address is already in use. Then, when I go to sign in, to see how it is signed in as I am the only one that has access to it, the sign up page appears which clearly indicates it is not associated with any dropbox account. I also did the trick of using forgot my password with that email address and no email address, which also indicates that email doesn't exist in dropbox. How to solve this dilemma? I opened a trial account using my new work email, however, they already had a DB business account and I wasn't made aware of that. So we cancelled the trial account, deleted the account and I am now trying to change the existing email to my new business email in my work's existing profile. I have successfully added it but I cannot verify. I have had DB Support trying to help. I have tried all the different browsers, used an incognito window, tried on my iPhone, tried a totally different computer - NOTHING!! I constantly get an Error (500) - Something went wrong.
