Dropbox Plan Plus Payment Method Card How did you upgrade? Sorry, don't remember Question or Issue Hi! I want to email a question to support. When I go to http://www.dropbox.com/get_help, it says my support options include email, but I only have access to the chatbot. The chatbot is unable to answer my question. How do I email a human? Thanks!11Views0likes3CommentsI need our invoices automatically emailed each month to someone who doesn't have a Dropbox account.
Can you please add the ability to set up an automatic email of our monthly invoice to our book keeper. Also, the book keeper is not a member in our Dropbox, as they don't need to be. They just need the invoice emailed to them - that's it. This is my second time requesting this feature. The first time you just closed my request without providing an answer or solution. This is terrible customer service IMO. This request has also been submitted by other DB members - I've seen the threads asking for this and the response from DB that their requests will be closed - terrible! I DON'T WANT TO DOWNLOAD MY INVOICE!!!! I want my invoices to be automatically emailed to my book keeper each month. I (like many) am extremely swamped with work and I don't have time to login and download invoices for my book keeper every month. This is an extremely inefficient workflow and it requires me to be a middle man. How long does the DB community have to wait for such a feature to be deployed? Please do not reply with instruction on how to download my invoice - I know how to do it because I am FORCED to do it every month.205Views4likes2CommentsCannot log in to my account because my email address is no longer active
I have the correct email and password but the email is no longer active so i can not get the code required to log in and I do not remember all the details on the form required to regain acess. I have contacted support but have not heard back and this is critically affecting my deliverables today.67Views0likes2CommentsWondering if my inaccessible account still active?
Hi, I’m wondering whether my inaccessible account is still active. I looked around but because I’m feeling anxious I couldn’t find a definite answer, and I’d really like some reassurance. Years ago, my old email was compromised during a time when I was unwell. It was part of a data breach, and in a panic I permanently deleted it (which I know was my own mistake). Today, years later, I suddenly thought about that old email again. Because everything back then was such a blur, I wondered whether I might have had a Dropbox account associated with it. When I tried signing in with the old email and password, it said it sent a code to that old email address, which I can no longer access because it was deleted. Many scenarios playing in my head, like one: I don’t know whether someone might have accessed my Dropbox account and downloaded the app on their phone or computer and it’s active? But since the email address itself is no longer active, I’m not sure what happens. I thought inactive accounts were eventually deactivated, or that files might be deleted after a long period of no access, or so I’ve read on here. I really hope that’s the case, especially because I may or may not have stored old sentimental family photos there (it’s been years). Again, I fully blame myself. Ive tried the recovery form, and now I’ve contacted support, although from what I’ve read on other forums, it’s unlikely they can help if you no longer have access to the associated email (I’m not angry at them). Still, I’m praying and hoping at least that if there were files and photos in them that they would have been deleted by now due to inactivity? Any advice appreciated. - Dropbox Plan - Standard Are you a Team Member or Admin? Not part of a team. Owner of account. Do you have access to the email linked to the account? Hi there! I created a Dropbox account years ago with my college email and have never had an issue getting into my account. Dropbox is now asking me to enter a 6 digit code that is being sent to that college email - I’m assuming because I got a new phone a few months ago. I no longer have access to that email so cannot get the code to login to my Dropbox. I have the correct password and everything, just can’t get that verification email. There is not a customer service phone line unfortunately so I’m not sure how to go about getting into my account! I submitted a form about it but haven’t heard anything back. Has anyone had any experience with finding a solution to this problem?62Views0likes5CommentsTurn off Dropbox Transfer notifications and emails
Hello, I am sick of the torrent of emails and red badges reminding me that I just created a transfer, someone downloaded the transfer I sent them to download, or the transfer is expiring etc. I want to turn off all of these emails with a toggle in the app. The numerous other posts and requests about this issue (dating back to the late 2010's) have gone unresolved, so I'm adding my voice here. Please prioritize fixing this problem! Or hire me to come and add the code in your backend real quick!
