If I want to share a folder with particular email addresses, is there a way to upload the addresses all at once or do i have to grant access one by one? I realize I can send a link by email myself, but don't want to do that.Solved943Views0likes1CommentHow can I remove a user from a Paper document that I shared with them via link?
Hello, I've a personal Dropbox account. I shared the link to someone. He opened it in his work account, instead of his personal account. Now the paper shows his work account as 'opened'. How to remove that? He doesn't want other people who is viewing the Paper to notice his work email address. Please help me.175Views0likes8CommentsThe default notification settings on this forum should be set to "Never".
This should be set to never by default. It is not URGENT to get notifications about badges. It's just not. I do not care and I would assume most people just tryingto get answers to their quetions do not care either. For those that do care, they should opt in. Otherwise this is just spammy in my inbox. Thanks.46Views0likes1CommentWhy do I get space warning emails when I upgraded six months ago?
vv Dropbox Plan Profesional Payment Method CC How did you upgrade? Directly through the Dropbox website Question or Issue I have used 30 GB of 3TB on my Professional account and continue to get "you are running out of space" emails which scare the **bleep** out of me each time I get them. How do you stop this? Are these emails not even tied to your database of current customers and their activity and usage space?Solved87Views0likes5CommentsHow to get the URL of an image for an HTML email?
I uploaded an image for use in an HTML email, then shared it and copied the link. After putting the link in my email, and testing the email, the image will not show up. It is just a broken link. I have not put it in a shared folder because I did not want users who get the email to be able to access the folder and its contents, but the file itself is shared. Am I using the wrong link?Solved15KViews0likes5CommentsI need our invoices automatically emailed each month to someone who doesn't have a Dropbox account.
Can you please add the ability to set up an automatic email of our monthly invoice to our book keeper. Also, the book keeper is not a member in our Dropbox, as they don't need to be. They just need the invoice emailed to them - that's it. This is my second time requesting this feature. The first time you just closed my request without providing an answer or solution. This is terrible customer service IMO. This request has also been submitted by other DB members - I've seen the threads asking for this and the response from DB that their requests will be closed - terrible! I DON'T WANT TO DOWNLOAD MY INVOICE!!!! I want my invoices to be automatically emailed to my book keeper each month. I (like many) am extremely swamped with work and I don't have time to login and download invoices for my book keeper every month. This is an extremely inefficient workflow and it requires me to be a middle man. How long does the DB community have to wait for such a feature to be deployed? Please do not reply with instruction on how to download my invoice - I know how to do it because I am FORCED to do it every month.330Views4likes2CommentsTurn off Dropbox Transfer notifications and emails
Hello, I am sick of the torrent of emails and red badges reminding me that I just created a transfer, someone downloaded the transfer I sent them to download, or the transfer is expiring etc. I want to turn off all of these emails with a toggle in the app. The numerous other posts and requests about this issue (dating back to the late 2010's) have gone unresolved, so I'm adding my voice here. Please prioritize fixing this problem! Or hire me to come and add the code in your backend real quick! Pleeeeease 🙏876Views0likes9CommentsPlease change the "reply-to" email on Dropbox Transfers to the sender and NOT noreply@dropbox.com!
I would think this would have been the logical way to set up emails when you send a Dropbox Transfer to someone, but alas: the current recipient's email when sending a Dropbox Transfer is: from: noreply@dropbox.com Hi "Someone" "Joe" (...@gmail.com) sent sent you a file. It'll be available to download until..... when someone hits REPLY to the email, it replies to noreply@dropbox.com!!???? PLEASE, this makes no sense at all!!! When a recipient hits REPLY, is should NOT reply to noreply@dropbox.com, it SHOULD reply to ...@gmail.com, the sender of the transfer, not the noreply dropbox email. I would think this would be basic logic, the entire premise of sending from a noreply email is to NOT have the recipient automatically reply to that email address! The actual sender's email is in the first line of the email, PLEASE just change the "reply-to" field so that recipients will reply to the SENDER and not noreply@dropbox.com as basic logic would dictate!142Views0likes2Comments
