STOP DROPBOX FROM SAVING SCREENSHOTS 2023
This is driving me crazy. I've followed online instructions but cannot find my dropbox preference where it supposedly gives me the option to turn off screenshots. Can anybody help?

I assume you're referring to screenshots on your computer and not your phone, right?
If so, you should be able to find the preferences, after clicking on the Dropbox icon in your system tray/menu bar.
Click on your initials/profile pic and you'll find the preferences option.
Let me know how that goes.

I was trying to find that preference on the Dropbox site directly or via the icon in my Mac dock.

Same question preferences didn't address saving screenshots. I never selected this option. I want to return saving screenshots to my pictures file.

Hi TomDel1, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Can you send us a screenshot of the options you get in the app's preferences under the Backups tab?

Good morning, with the new version of Dropbox desktop 185.4.6054 it is no longer possible to take screenshots by pressing the Print System button.
"Share screenshots using Dropbox" is flagged in the Settings Backup tab.
