Want to delete my account - no option available in General setting
I want to delete my account and everything, doc anfd files related BUT unlike what it is said in help center there NO "delete account" option in General settings. Please procede ASAP !!
I'm furious I cannot simply delete in a click. This is my right as a user so I would appreciate this to be done right away.

The option to delete your account should be found at the bottom of your Account page. If you're a member of a team then you won't be able to delete your account. You would need to contact the team admin in that case.

Are you a part of a Team at all? If so you need to leave that first and then go to www.dropbox.com/account and scroll down to the bottom of the page

in settings > general, i can't find "delete my account". these are the steps dropbox gives and they are wrong. do you know how to delete an account? thank you.

Tried to contact Dropbox for this problem but the webpage keeps looping me without any resolution.

If your account is Basic, it may be that you're account is part of a free team. Please check out my previous post here, and let me know if that helps.

This Company SUCKS - They won't let me speak to a person, The phone number on my bill they send every month is a non-working number and the guy on chat can't even help me to cancel my account!!!!
I am following the instructions exactly.Dropbox Basic users
Sign in to dropbox.com.
Click your avatar (profile picture or initials) in the upper right corner.
Click Settings.
Under General, click Delete account.However, There is NO DELETE option under General!!

I followed the steps on https://help.dropbox.com/de-de/accounts-billing/create-delete/delete-account but I dont have the option to delete my account. So can please somebody help me or give me an email so I can contact support directly?
