Can I set up 2-Factor Authentication with no cell phone?
Hi,
I would like to make my Dropbox account more secure, so I tried to set up the 2-factor authentification. However, I have no cell phone, so I can't set it up. There is no option for a desktop-based authentificator (like KeepPassXC), nor for Dropbox to call me on a landline phone.
What do you suggest I do to make my account more secure, if I don't have a cell phone?
Thanks.

Hi etewfik, thanks for messaging the Community!
Currently, in order to set up 2FA with Dropbox, you'll need a mobile phone in order to begin the process.
Once 2FA is on, you can then add other forms of authentication.
If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.

I would also suggest Creating An Idea with this request if you'd like Dropbox to consider more authentication options. Definitely worth a try!
