Can the team folders be hidden?
We have a lot of shared folders visible with the staff but when opened, it is empty as the contents are not share with most of the staff...
is there any way to make these folders be hidden instead?...

3 years agoThat can be done by following the suggestion I made earlier. If we assume your whole team has 10 people (meaning in the default 'Everyone at' group), but the group you want has 3 only, create a group (Finance for instance) and add those 3 members to it.
Add that group to the Finance team folder, which should have the default 'Everyone at' group. Now remove the 'Everyone at' group from the folder.
Access won't change for the Finance group, since they still had access to it, but for those 7 users not part of the group, that folder should disappear completely from the site, mobile app and Dropbox folder on their machines.

Hi Jay,
Thanks for the detailed advice. Greatly appreciated. 🙂
I'll try this one tomorrow.
