How can I find the security code sent to my private email?

Wondering if anyone has tried to link their account to a computer with a private chosen email and it’s asking for the security code. Where can I find that?

    Hey Riley Burns, hope you’re doing well. 

     

    When referring to “a private chosen email”, do you mean the random private email generated by Apple perhaps? 

     

    If yes, then the security code should be found at the actual email address that’s linked to your Apple ID (like the rest of your Dropbox emails). 

     

    Let me know, if I’ve misunderstood something though.
