How can I prevent team members from sharing or downloading the data to use them as their own?
I am planning to start a work account with Dropbox, but my profession revolves around highly valuable data. My main concern is whether other users with access to the shared Dropbox account can download files without permission. If they do, they could potentially use the downloaded data to run their own business and generate revenue, which would be a serious issue.
Is there a solution to prevent unauthorized downloads or ensure better control over shared data? I would appreciate any guidance on this.

“Depending on the team plan you choose, you can also see activity on file operations in the team, such as who downloads files from shared/team folders in the admin console”

No there isnt.
There also isnt any way to stop them copying/pasting it, or, if we are going to be really honest even if that was the case there is nothing to stop them opening it, copying and pasting the text etc. in to another file and saving that.
If you want to secure the devices/drives etc. you'll need to find some specific software that does that with the whole harddrive - because Dropbox is literally just a folder on it like all others.

Thanks for looking in to this,
but most of our data is synced on time for every users in their respective hard drives, so is there any way to get notified when one of them moves or copies any of these data from their hard drives to their personal storage devices ?

Hey Pooja p, thanks for taking the time to post to the Dropbox Community!
When a user/team member has access (either "can view" or "can edit") to a folder, there's no way to disable downloads.
You can restrict certain members from accessing content or disable downloads for shared links.
Depending on the team plan you choose, you can also see activity on file operations in the team, such as who downloads files from shared/team folders in the admin console.
I hope this clarifies things, but if you have any questions, let me know.
