One clarification here. Are you referring to the 6-digit security code, or our 2FA?
I'm guessing it's the first one, especially if you're checking your email address for these codes.
Provided that's the case, can you add no-reply@dropbox.com to your email contacts, and try again?
Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

Hi Megan, thanks for answering! I get the email in my inbox with the reset link, however, then I cant get a six digit code, because I lost access to my old work pc and I don't have Dropbox linked to my authenticator app.

Hey Varjen, thanks for the speedy reply!
When enabling our 2-factor authentication, you'll receive 10 backup codes. Each eight-digit code can be used once to access your Dropbox account in case of emergency.
