By the way, I am perfectly fine with deleting my old account so that I can start again with the same email address. Maybe it is possible to send a delete link to my registered email address?

When it comes to deleting the account, I'm afraid we can't do much about this. That said, keep in mind that Dropbox accounts are automatically deleted after a period of inactivity.
Also, without the security codes our options are limited. Still I want to make sure we've tried everything we can from our side.
I've opened a ticket for you, and can escalate your case to our specialized team to see if there's anything they can do. I can't promise a resolution, but I'd really like for us to give it a shot.
