Hello Nancy,
thankyou for your help. So would it be possible to get help to login to my old account and change the Email address or are you referring to the deletion of my former account? Thanks

It's extremely rare that Dropbox will help you sign in to an account when you no longer have access to the email address associated with that account. Your email address is used to verify ownership of the account. The only other way to gain access is if you already have an active device signed in to your account and syncing.
So, contact Support and see what they say. Only they will know the exact options available to you. They likely can't/won't get you signed in and won't delete the account, but if you're still being charged for the account they can at least get any future billing canceled.
Also, once the account is idle for a year, it will be deleted automatically.
