Mistyped email results in not being able to verify account
I was sent a DB link for work. Dropbox asked me to verify my email address. In a rush, I inputted a typo in my email address. This has resulted in Dropbox sending all my verifications to someone who doesn't exist. I can't see how to reset my verification so I can input the right email. There are only steps to resend to the wrong address. Our IT can't resolve this either.

Welcome to our Community, JRC_Camp!
Out of curiosity, was the typo made in the email name or the domain?
Let me know, and we’ll take it from there.

Thanks Nancy. Typo was in the email name (you'd think I would get that right).

Thanks for clarifying that! In this case, I’d suggest setting up a new Dropbox account instead with the correct email address, and transferring any files you may have uploaded to Dropbox there.

Really? It's a work Dropbox so I would have to get IT to do I guess. The entire organisation is attached to them, so I can't move them anywhere. Can I just create the new Dropbox and link to all my old pathways?

Also. Just to be clear. This is only for links to view files on the web. All my other Dropbox stuff works and knows who I am.

Just to clarify, do you have any files stored on this Dropbox account at all?
If you just wish to view shared links, you can even do this without being logged into a Dropbox account.
