Mistyped email results in not being able to verify account

2 years agoThanks for clarifying that! In this case, I’d suggest setting up a new Dropbox account instead with the correct email address, and transferring any files you may have uploaded to Dropbox there.

Really? It's a work Dropbox so I would have to get IT to do I guess. The entire organisation is attached to them, so I can't move them anywhere. Can I just create the new Dropbox and link to all my old pathways?

Also. Just to be clear. This is only for links to view files on the web. All my other Dropbox stuff works and knows who I am.

Just to clarify, do you have any files stored on this Dropbox account at all?
If you just wish to view shared links, you can even do this without being logged into a Dropbox account.
