I'm not receiving the security code while setting up my Dropbox iOS app.
I have Basic Dropbox on my Mac and used it for multiple years. I'm trying to set up IOS Dropbox on my iPhone 16, but not receiving security code. I've looked in my email main and spam folders and no email or message on the Mac. Please help.

Welcome to our Community, WiggJ, and happy new year!
By security code, are you referring to the one-time 6-digit code or are you referring to our 2-factor authentication feature?
Can you add no-reply@dropbox.com to your email contacts and try to sign in again to see if it helps?
Keep me posted on the results and we'll go from there.

The heading on the screen on the IOS Dropbox App is labeled "Security Code". The area that you input the code is labeled "6-digit Code"
Adding no-reply@dropbox.com to my email contacts made no difference. - Megan1 month ago

Hey WiggJ!
If you have access to the email, but are not receiving the code, make sure to check your spam folder as well.
And if it's still not arriving, try to see if you can bypass the process, by resetting your password. Of course I can always reach out via email, in order for us to have a closer look into this. Just let me know, and I'll go ahead and open a ticket on my end for you.

As I said earlier there was nothing in junk/spam either. I do not have an emergency backup code as I did not "turn on" 2-factor authentication"
I clicked on "Having trouble signing in?" then selected "Single sign-on" and I received the message that it is not set up for this account.
I selected "Forgot password", confirmed the email address and clicked "send". I received a popup that said a recovery email was sent. But I haven't received that either. I tried that twice and there is no email in the main or junk/spam mailbox.
I AM receiving emails from Dropbox Community.
Please provide more direction. Thanks - Nancy1 month ago

Hey WiggJ! If you check the inbox of your email address, you should be seeing a new message from me. Please reply to it, and we’ll investigate this further.
