Ransomware has changed my Dropbox email address
I recently suffered a ransomware attack that ends up corrupting my computer and dropbox files.
Even I cannot login with my ID [removed per the Dropbox Community Guidelines]
When I first logged in with my existing ID, I was told that I had to sign up for a new membership, and the 2TB account I originally subscribed to was also missing.
When I checked the shared folder access account, my dropbox email changed to tenrewop@**bleep**.li (maybe hacked ID)
I think files are not encrypted until now.
Please check the problem and see if the data recovery or email account is available again!!!

Hey lyw7288, sorry to hear about this.
Do you still have access to the email address associated with your account?
If so, can I send you an email, to see what we can do?
Let me know.

a hacker changed my dropbox id using my google email.
And the email regarding change of id was inside trash category - lyw72883 years agoExplorer | Level 4I never changed my account.
This(tenrewop@**bleep**.li) is not the email address I changed. Currently, my computer is caught in ransomware. I think the hacker intentionally changed it to another ID about 5-6 hours ago. So, if I log in with my Google ID now, i am asked to create a new Dropbox ID, and the 2TB capacity i originally subscribed to is gone.
For now, I have changed the password of the Google ID account linked to the dropbox.
