strange files in activities
Hello, for some time now, in my Dropbox activities, there's a file named "bonus scommesse.jpg" that I didn't create. It is displayed occasionally, not by my doing, and it requires access to be opened, but there's no trace of the file in Dropbox. Why is this happening? Is there any solution to delete it?

Hey Lordarioch77, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Can you please clarify where exactly you're seeing this file? Is it on the app somewhere or in the events page perhaps?
Have you tried checking its version history to see from where it's being added to your account?
Keep me posted!

Hi, thanx for your attention
I'm seeing this file in the activity (see 1st image below) and also in the "home" page (see 2nd image below), while the version history of the file is unavailable, the only option is "open", but request access.

Sorry to jump in here, Lordarioch77.
Do you see this file, if you navigate to your files in the "all files" page?
If not, could it be a file that you opened from a link that someone might have sent you?

Hi
no, If I navigate in "all files" page I can't see the file. I've not received that file from nobody, I've never opened it because request an access. I tried to get access permission to try to open it and see what is it, but in vain, nobody answer.

Hi Lordarioch77, could you check this page to see if it was a shared file?
- Lordarioch772 years agoExplorer | Level 3
Hi. No, it's empty.

Just so we can check this, Lordarioch77, can you send us a screenshot of what you see when you try to open it?
You said that it says you need to request access to see it?
And you never received any emails from anyone sharing this file with you?

Thanks for the screenshot, Lordarioch77.
Can you check any other email addresses you might have, to see if someone invited you to this file or to a folder containing this file?
