[Urgent] Cannot login to Dropbox account since email is deactivated and unable to receive auth codes
Hi, my original account is under a different email account. I have created this dummy account to have access to posting my concern to dropbox community.
My main account is a premium membership where I am paying a monthly fee of 20$. I wish to cancel the subscription, but cannot login to my dropbox account since it's tied to my old school account and my university has deactivated the account. There is no way for me to get the account back. I tried account recovery but that's of no luck either. I cannot even access live chat to help me with this, although I am paying for a dropbox subscription.
Can I please get help. I either need support in accessing the email account or cancelling the subscription. Thanks

You can try contacting Support, but without access to the email account you may not be able to gain access to the Dropbox account. You need to maintain an active email address on your account so you can receive password resets and one-time security codes used during sign in.
If you're unable to gain access to the account, Support will at least be able to cancel your subscription so there won't be any future payments.
To contact Support, visit the Support page while you're NOT signed in to a Dropbox address, including these forums, and you'll see an option for sign in issues. It's best to use an Incognito or Private browsing session to make sure you're not signed in.
