I got an email supposedly from dropbox. with the subject "ATTN: We recommend completing your Dropbox setup ASAP", and then saying "Your files are nearly ready to be uploaded", followed by a dropbox.c...

    Hey adrianxw, sorry to jump in here, but I just wanted to mention that since this email came from an official Dropbox domain, it's possible that the email was sent out in error, since this is usually an email sent out when you first create a Dropbox account.

     

    Feel free to ignore the email and let us know if you receive any similar emails in the future.

    It seems that the email you received is legit and is probably prompting you about this update. 

     

    If you choose to  move forward with the update, make sure to familiarize yourself with the changes outlined here.
