What’s New: June 2021

We’re back with some new updates, features and designs to make sure you get the most out of Dropbox. Whether it’s news about PDFS, backing up, or adding team members that interest you, you’ll want to check this out.

External hard drive back up

Backing up a hard drive used to be a hassle, but now it’s simple. Plug in your hard drive, and with a few clicks you can back up content directly from the hard drive into Dropbox. Learn more about it here. Now you can keep your photos and files safe with an extra layer of reassurance.

Convert to a PDF without leaving Dropbox:

Just as it says on the tin, you can convert applicable files to PDFs without leaving Dropbox at all. No more converting externally, deleting the old file and uploading the new one, now you can do it all in one place. Simple!

Admin update: Add same domain users easily:

A small but mighty update for admins will make it easy to add all users on the same domain (and off-team collaborators) after you share with them for the first time. It makes sense you would need to add those people to your teams, so now it’s a little easier.
