I tried this twice as you specified on two separate computers, but the problem persists. Please reach out to me via email to resolve this. I really need this fixed.

    I'm having the same problem today (never had this issue before) - is this an issue on Dropbox's end?

      Have you tried on a different browser or a private browsing window, to see if you get the same behavior?

        Yes, tried a different browser and a private browsing window, same behavior - the placeholder text I enter keeps disappearing.
