On iPad, adjust column widths, or allow line wrap, to show full filenames
Is it possible to prevent long filenames being shortened from the end? My filenames need to have the whole name displayed, rather than having the end characters chopped off. These "end" characters identify the various versions of the same file.
Many thanks,
JohnF

Dear John.
unfortunately, I seem to lack the skill to vote. However, I’m finding your site, with Dropbox, extremely difficult to use. In fact, I’ve often stopped using it, which leaves me searching the web for a similar, ‘user friendly’ site. John, it’s a real shame, because before Dropbox it was exceptionally user friendly, even for a ‘non tech savvy old man’ The last time I attempted, I couldn’t move the line, at the bottom, to repeat difficult parts in the score.
Today, I tried to get, bass 1 for Elijah. I was confronted with sound files, but completely unable to discover bass 1. Unless it’s my lack of understanding.
I’ve been enjoying, your site for many years John, and it’s seen me through many a complicated work and phrase, without which I’m sure I would now be a psychiatric case still trying to get my head around, Tippett, or Martin. Unfortunately, in its present state l shall have do much thinking before I renew.
Best wishes
Keith Burton

Why can't I just click on an MP3 file on my iPad and hear the track as I do on my computer. I hate the Dropbox connection.

Hi All,
Yes, useful to also use file versions, and date on files names.

Totally agree. I often use similar filenames with version identifiers at the end, so if you cut off the end of a filename then I can't identify at all what the file is. Big Pain.

the problem also occurs on Chrome browsers generally (under Windows and ChromeOS) - I can't speak for other browsers, though I now see that others report this as a general problem, so please fix it!
I also found that I can't vote for an idea after commenting on that idea - please review the user interface and fix that big. Thanks!

ABSOLUTELY important. Having version numbers chopped off makes it **bleep** hard to find what you want!

For some reason, since I added a comment first, I am unable to go back and vote for the idea; the button is disabled ;o(
I also can't go back and edit my original comment.
