It would be a great idea to implement an extra layer of protection to be able to hide certain files or be able to lock them with a set password within the app since I experience multiple users on multiple machines of mine being able to access most of the files. Therefor I would really benefit from a folder I can lock with my personal password and therefor hide sensitive information or files that should not be accessed by other users but me. I would suggest calling it something like Vault or Hidden Files. This could also be done via integration through the apps, let people decide if they want to install the vault feature or not.51Views2likes3CommentsThe ability to add tags in the mobile app.
I’m not sure why this has been suggested for years now and this basic functionality still isn’t present in the app. This makes your automation really frustrating if I can’t add tags on my phone when I’m away from my computer and adding files from my phone.75Views4likes3CommentsBack button to be added when viewing pdfs.
Can a "back" button be adder to the PDF viewer on iPad? We use Dropbox to host reference manuals, some are more than 1000 pages. It would be great if after clicking a link to a part of the document there was a back button which returned you to the previous page.2.6KViews7likes12CommentsiOS app: Delete photos option after uploaded
It would be great if we had the option to remove photos from our iPhone once it has successfully uploaded via the upload to folder feature. I don’t use that automatic photos uploading so it is quite frustrating to have to upload then find the same photos to delete in the iOS photo app.353Views0likes4CommentsSearching for files using their full file-path.
Dear team Searching for files (e.g. by name) on the iOS app is very quick and good. However, once found, it would be great if we could see the full filepath of that resulting folder or file (e.g. C:\Dropbox\.... ) so that it can be quickly found on my laptop or desktop machine. Can you add this feature please? (Under the iOS app, you can select 'Show in Folder' via the three dots next to the file, but this still doesn't give visability of the full path.) Thanks if you can help.158Views1like5CommentsFeature Request: iOS batch photo capture with auto-upload
Hi Dropbox Team, I’d love to see a feature added to the Dropbox iOS app that allows users to take multiple photos in rapid succession (batch mode) and have them automatically uploaded to a selected folder without needing to manually confirm each upload. This feature would be incredibly useful for: Field workers and inspectors who need to document multiple images quickly. Event photographers capturing fast moments that need instant cloud backup. Document scanning and archiving where multiple images need to be stored in Dropbox immediately. Currently, the Dropbox iOS app requires users to take and upload one photo at a time, which slows down workflows. A batch capture mode with real-time auto-upload would make Dropbox an even better tool for professionals. Please consider adding this feature in a future update! Thanks for your time. Please enable multiple file selection or remember the last folder during the transfer file process. Currently in iOS mobile app I can only pick one file at a time and because it goes back to the root folder for each new selection I have to find my way back to the same folder over and over again when transferring multiple files. Thank you.80Views0likes6Comments
