I got an offer of 1 GB extra storage if I installed Dropbox Passwords. I did so, but no extra storage. Was it a hoax?

Please feel free to e-mail me. This e-mail is the same as I use to login to my dropbox account.
also have the same problem. it was a popup with 1gb, no screenshot( after downloading and installing nothing happened.
I’ve just logged you a ticket @azzzimut, so please reply back to it, and we’ll check this further.

Did you also check your linked to Dropbox email address (including your spam folder) and there’s no sign of the promotion?

Hi All,
I also signed up for the Dropbox Password through a pop up notification with the extra 1gb storage after I logged in to my account. and I actually did get an email from Dropbox notifying me that I have connected the Dropbox Password Extension with my account. However, I still haven't received the extra 1gb storage. Can someone please help?
Hi @simbashen, have you completed the Get Started steps on your account?
Could you try waiting 24 hours to see if the quota will get added to your account later?
