When sending a file through Dropbox Transfer, I get get notified everytime a file will expire within 2 days. As I send all of my work to my clients through Dropbox Transfer, I get quite a lot of these e-mails and they start to clutter up my inbox. Is there a way to turn them off?

I just tried to disable the said mails, seems like there still is no option for that 😞

Hi there Dropbox-Team & Community,
I do send a lot of files to my clients and colleagues via Dropbox Transfer.

I like the ease of use and overall workflow of said feature a lot. But I don’t enjoy the lack of control over the notifications / emails I get regarding my (sent or expiring) Transfers. The notification after s/o downloaded seems helpful, but I don’t enjoy all the emails in my inbox telling me that my transfer is ready or that it will expire soon – These mails just fill up the mailbox and are unnecessary (for me).

As proposed many times, like over here → Please add a set of options in Settings/Notifications to configure theses notifications as preferred by the user. Right now the user experience gets a deep hit by the resulting (unconfigurable) email clutter.

Thank you! 🙏

Ok. Will this be a feature in the near future?
Seems like a lot of people want / need / would appreciate these settings.

@Hannah @Jay

It's been more than three years since I posted this question and it seems like I'm not the only one who is looking for a solution. Now that my business is growing and I am increasingly using Dropbox to transfer files, I find myself starting off each day deleting Dropbox Transfer notification e-mails. This is valuable time that could be spent on other things... I really hope this idea gets some traction so it gets noticed by the people that can actually do something about this.

At the time of my original question, I also posted this idea here:
