I can't change my email address and access my dropbox account

Hi! I need some help...urgently!
My dropbox account is linked with my email from hotmail ...but now, Hotmail is forbidding me to use my email...
I need to change my dropbox password because when I tried to login in another pc, a message showed up and it was saying that my dropbox password expired...but, I can't access my hotmail to do what I need...because I can't access any of this accounts...
anyone knows what should I do ? I just want to change my email account linked to dropbox...from hotmail to gmail...Is it possible without access my hotmail?

You will need to log a ticket at www.dropbox.com/support and ask for help. Make sure if you have a computer with access to Dropbox you BACK UP YOUR DATA incase a change of email is not possible.

Note it is also not a good idea to post email addresses on a public forum due to hacking/virus risks.

If you uploaded the photos to Dropbox they will still be safely stored in your account. You can log in to the Dropbox website to access them. Unless you changed the email address in your account you'll need to log in using your old email.

My Dropbox account is attached to my work email address. I no longer work there and need to change it to my personal email address but when I enter it I get a message that says that email address already exists.

Thats means you have an account already with your personal email address. 

Use www.dropbox.com/forgot to get the password back and log on to it. Then you can transfer the data over via shared folders, OR, delete the account and update the email on your work account to the now-deleted accounts email.

My phone's dropbox is linked to an old work email and I don't remember the password although the app automatically signs me in.  I need to get the password but dropbox.com/forgot is useless because sending a link to a defunct email account doesn't help.  It would also be suitable to combine that dropbox account with my personal account.

In most circumstances, if you no longer have access to the email account and can't remember the password, you cannot gain access to the account (the email account proves ownership). You can try to contact Support for assistance, but they may not help in this case.
