Can you clarify what you mean by 'new unit' and if you're part of a team account or working with individual Dropbox accounts?
If it's the former one, are you a member or an admin of the team?
As for deleting the folder in question, could you send us a screenshot of any errors you may be getting or the page that you get stuck on so that we can have a visual too?
