Re: Impossibility to attach upload a file / a document from dropbox in my email

All of the sudden I can't attach files from Dropbox in emails

For some reason, I can no longer attach files from my Dropbox folders. When I go to attach a file and click on Dropbox it now only brings up recent history. It has always pulled up my entire folder system but now I can't see them. I use a Macbook Pro and this is the case with both Mac Mail and also Outlook. The Dropbox icon is not showing up in my Favorites sidebar. If I go to the app icon on the top of the screen I can go to my folders but I can't get there from email. I used to be able to open Finder and Dropbox was in my Favorites list and I could get to it there but I can't any longer.  Thanks for your help!

Hello the document is usually one or two pages I never attached heavy file. Before it was pretty easy to do the operation and now it doesnt work i do not understand thanks for your help best regards

Hi @vivavie, please could you confirm exactly what program you are using to access your emails. Is it the Gmail app, the iOS Mail app, or the Gmail site?

 

When you want to attach files, what exactly happens? A screenshot of this would be greatly appreciated in your next reply.

I am using Gmail on my phone and I got the reply below when trying to upload a document from dropbox :
impossibity to attach the document
Like i wrote in à previous message i did not fond the way to send you the screenshot thanks Best regards

In your reply, you can copy and paste your screenshot, or click the camera icon in the reply box to attach a screenshot.

Without more information, it would be difficult to troubleshoot this matter. I'm not certain of how you're trying to upload the file in an email and the exact error. 

 

Can you reply from a desktop machine and attach the screenshot from there, after emailing the screenshot to yourself?
