Hello everyone!
I'm the admin of a business account with 5To of DB space.
Checking this page, a lot of old shared folders could be erased. Except I can't... because they're shared.
Can I, as an admin, erase these folders?
Thanks!
Hey @Krapomatic, thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community.
Are you the owner of those shared folders?
And do you need to erase them only from your account or remove them from the other members' accounts as well?
Let me know.

Hi Hannah,
Thanks for your time.
Yes, I'm the owner. At least I hope so 😉 I'm the creator of the folders and I need to permanently erase them. Other people sharing them aren't even members of my team.
Sure thing, @Krapomatic.
If that's the case, you should be able to erase them, just like you would with any other folder.
If you want, you can first remove any members on them as well.
I hope this helps!

Not sure...
When I'm here, I can see a lot of old useless folders. But the Dropbox interface only proposes to "Join". I suppose it's because I'm not seen as the admin and only a part of the Team...
Hovering over the name of the folder doesn't reveal any possible action...
I hope this makes you figure out something...
Thanks !!
I see, that's for this additional info here!
If you see an option to join the folder, it means you're not a member of the folder at all.
The "shared" page will show you both the folders you're a member of an the ones you've been invited to, but haven't joined.
I'm afraid that unless the people who invited you retract the invitation, those folders will remain there.
Or you can join and then remove yourself from the folders.

Thanks Hannah, that is useful.
It's weird, because I'm pretty sure I created these folders ! The members are my clients...
But I still have a question : Will this space be deducted from my account?
Hey @Krapomatic - sorry to jump in here, but I just wanted to mention that the space those shared folders are taking up will be indeed added back to your account if you remove your access from them.
That said, have you by any chance tried to remove them from the Content tab on your Admin Console?
