Hello,
I am a French Guy so sorry for my English. I am not able to cancle the sharing of a folder even if I do this on the setting of that folder. Like this way : https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Sharing-and-collaboration/Unshared-folder-still-showing-up-a-shared/...
Anyone can help?
In my experience, this happens when a shared folder currently has—or previously had—shared folders within it (in Dropbox for Business). The use case is simply not well supported. It becomes buggy at best, and in some cases—I can't figure out exactly what triggers it—IMPOSSIBLE to every unshare some of the outer folders.
The "unshare" feature in Dropbox could be a million times better, and since there is no built in way to handle it i got a tip about "Watermint".
I ran into a situation where i needed to unshare some hundred folders with hundreds of users, and the official answer was "you need to remove the users one by one from the folders one by one" which would have taken me weeks to do.
But, with Watermint you can "batch" the unsharing, so have a look.
Hey @Michel G.7 - sorry to hear about this.
Could you confirm that you're using these steps to un-share the folder in question?
Let us know more and we'll take it from there.

They don't appear as mentioned in the tutorial.
And the folder I want to unshare is notified as if I am the only one who can access to this folder (but the shared icon is still there).
I can assure you that I am really exhausted with these Dropbox issues.
What are the options you're getting when you click on the (...) button after selecting the folder @Michel G.7?

Do you mean on the web or the desktop app ?
Because I have a lot of possibilities but no <unshare folder>
I have found a ludicrous way to unshare :
Empty the folder from it elements by dragging them beside (still in DB).
Move the shared empty folder to the trash.
Create a new folder and name it as the previous one.
Fill it with the files previously moved from the shared folder !!!!
Absurd isn't it ?
Hi @Michel G.7, if you could share a screenshot of what you see when trying to unshare the file using the web, that'd be great.
Thanks!

In fact, I have tried everything !
Could you tell me exactly what should be done (to unshare) ?
It would be nice.
