Ever since I integrated my Dropbox with Mac, I keep getting conflicting files even though I am the only one using the files.
Is this a known issue? Any solution in sight?
Hi @janicevaneck, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Are these files being used by other applications or services on your device? Are they in private or shared folders?
This will help me to assist further!

They are in private folders.
They would be used by various applications - Acrobat, InDesign, etc.
Is this occurring every time you save a file in one of these apps?

No, it seems to be happening like every 7 or 8th time.
Is the file being autosaved by the app, or manually saved by you?

Manually saved.
Hi @janicevaneck, can you try this workaround and let me know how you found it?
The workaround that can be used to prevent conflicted copies is to move the file out of the Dropbox folder while editing it. Once you're done editing, you can move the file back into its original location in the Dropbox folder. It will reappear with your edits.
Also try disabling any anti-virus or any other program and application that could be keeping the file open as you want to sync the file. If any other program or user is accessing the file, a conflicted copy will be created.

That's not really a practical workflow solution...
Hey @janicevaneck, sorry to jump in, but would it be OK if we reached out via email to have a further look internally?
