Hello,
for an exhibition, I printed many stickers to redirect my customers to the promotional materials.
My issue is that my storage space wasn't properly planned as it was a work in progress.
Now, I want to reorganize my storage space but I would like to know if my QR code will still point to the correct folders if I move them and/or change the name.
Please note that these QR codes were not generated by the app but by myself on InDesign.
Thanks.
Hey @Sambath, rearranging the files within your account, shouldn't affect the links.
The links will break only if the files are deleted from their locations.
Are you seeing a different behavior?

Hi @Sambath, thanks for posting today.
Are you referring to shared links on your account that the QR codes are pointing to?
Have you since deleted, edited or moved any of the files in question?
This will help me to assist further!

Hi @Jay,
Thanks for your support.
Yes, here are the steps I followed:
1- I created links with Dropbox by right clicking on the folder I wanted to create a link
2- In InDesign, I copy-pasted the link to "Geneate a QR code"
So, the link went from something like this "https://www.dropbox.com/sh/XXXX/XXXXX" to a scannable QR code I printed to stick on furniture (rollups, forex, counter) I had during the exhitions.
My idea behind the stickers were not to "lose them" so they would be reusable for future exhibitions.
But as of now, I decided to clean my dropbox and reorganize it so I won't delete the folders by accident.
I want to create a "DO NOT TOUCH" folder with these folders inside but I want to keep the stickers still redirecting to these folders correctly.
I am not sure as I speak since they are not dynamic links but look rather more like static ones...
What did I do wrong?
Many thanks.

Hi @Sambath , I wanted to let you know that our team is building a feature that will let you create a QR code to share files or folders from Dropbox. It will behave in the same way as shared links do.
We plan to ramp it up to paying customers starting next week. Hopefully this makes your workflow easier as you won't have to navigate to another tool to create QR codes that link back to Dropbox. We'd love your feedback on this feature when you start to use it! 😊
