Although a shared link is set to allow anyone to view it, dropbox is not allow them to. They are prompted to have to create a log in.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
What was the solution?
It appears if you choose to share a file with the file open, for whatever reason, dropbox will prompt a view to create a login/ to login. But if you are looking at a list of files and choose to share the file with the share icon, then it may work.
Although the settings say anyone can view the link, I am being sent a message where the person attempting to view the file has requested to view it. I have to approve the request, and then they can view the shared file. Why is this happening?

Just to clarify, are you definitely sharing a link to the file, and not sharing the file directly to a user's Dropbox account?
This will help me to assist further!
