cannot upload certain mp3 files

cannot upload certain mp3 files

I have a large number of mp3 files on my Windows 10 desktop that I cannot upload to  Dropbox. These files are not music -- they are files downloaded from a book CD.  They were originally cda files, but I converted them to mp3 using Windows Media Player.

Other mp3 files in my computer can be uploaded to Dropbox easily.

How can I change the mp3 files converted from cda to make them uploadable?

Hi @jerry94526, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Generally, cda files are only a representation of audio tracks on a CD and it does not contain any music or audio. They are tiny in size and can't be directly converted directly to an MP3 file, since the original CD is needed to rip the music or audio in the first place.

How large are the MP3 files after the conversion? What error are you getting when uploading to the Dropbox folder?

This will help me to assist further!

Thanks for responding, Jay.

Here is an example of the files I'm trying to upload:

and this shows the properties for one of the files, number 5

The size of the file is not given.

When I try to upload to Dropbox, nothing happens.  No upload, no reaction, nothing.  Whereas other mp3 files upload fine, like this one:

So there must be different types of mp3 files, right?

Many thanks for your help -- Jerry

Hey there @jerry94526, sorry for jumping in here, but could you try clearing your browser's cache or using another browser and let us know if the upload still fails?

Also, how large are these files? Have you ensured you have enough quota in your account?
