Email Message from Dropbox about deleted files

I received an email from Dropbox, shown below, notifying me that my deleted files will soon be deleted. This is fine, however I'd like to review them in advance of the deletion. The link takes me to:

  https://www.dropbox.com/event_details/1080385169/3486066401/971797324/0?oref=e

The files are displayed with the only option being to restore.

I can't find any of the files on my PC or my online Dropbox presence. Where are they?

    Hi John,

You recently deleted 1014 files from your Dropbox account. If you want these files back, you can still restore them until 4/11/2023. After that, they'll be permanently deleted.

These are the files you deleted:

Hi @jpkelly, you mentioned that the files are displayed when you visit your Events page, right? You can either restore them, and see the full content.

Or you can contact Support, in order for them to have a more account-specific look into this. However, I am not sure that they would be able to give you a full list of almost 1K of files.

Hey @jpkelly, thanks for posting on our Community and happy Monday!

These look like shared folders that were probably backed up to your Dropbox account, or shared after you had backed them up to Dropbox.

Can you find them in your backups page or your sharing tab perhaps, instead of your events page or the deleted files page?

Let me know of any updates, John.

Hi Walter,

Thank you for your reply.  I've looked in all the locations that you recommended to no avail. I searched all of the directories in my pc. I searched my online dropbox directories, nothing. The files are displayed on the Event Details page but are grayed out. There is that tempting "RESTORE" button but I'm scared to death to click on it.
