Error "There was a problem completing this request" restoring deleted folder

I accidenly deleted a large folder - within the last day.  I am trying to recover, but I keep on encountering an error "There was a problem completing this request."

I have seen lots of discussions on the topic, but didn't see if there is a solution.

This folder is quite large.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

I was finally able to restore the folder.  I displayed just the deleted files, found the top level folder and restored it.  Then, I went to the contents of that folder and restored - subfolder by subfolder.
