Hi,
I have accidentally deleted a folder from my Dropbox 2 months ago. I am trying to restore it but it seems that it’s not possible after 30 days using the free version.
So, my questions are :
1. Is there any way to get back my data ? (I’ve already tried the “normal way” suggested by Dropbox.
2. If I now pay for a premium version, will I be able to restore my folder I deleted 2 months ago ? I mean, is that retroactive or the files had been definitively deleted ?

Truth be told, it is a very important folder and I could pay a lot to get it back !! Thank you very much for your help, any advices are welcomed 🙏

Hi @Nico95, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

 

I understand you concern over the deleted files. If you're on the Basic plan, and they were deleted outside of 30 days, it wouldn't be possible to recover those files. Upgrading to a Dropbox Professional or Business plan isn't retroactive, so that wouldn't help in recovering the files.

 

However, you could try using a third party app or service to recover the deleted files from your computer directly.

Thank you very much for your reply.
Unfortunately my computer has been stolen so I’ve lost all my data, and that’s the reason why I’m trying to get back datas anywhere I can… and Dropbox was my best hope !
